The School of Professional Studies offers individualized and flexible courses of study, designed to meet the diverse needs of nontraditional students.

Our scheduling options help students to successfully balance the demands of their academic, work and family.

 

Bachelor of Professional Studies

The Bachelor of Professional Studies is a highly-customizable degree completion program, which combines a liberal arts education with immediately applicable practical skills.

The foundational curriculum helps students to understand how various factors – history, economics, science and technology – shape the global economy. Our experienced and approachable faculty will prepare students for the realities of the workplace; facilitating the development of leadership techniques and communication skills.

 

Bachelor of Science in Business Administration

The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration is an internationally accredited program (AACSB*), offered in collaboration with the College of Charleston School of Business.  This program combines a fundamental liberal arts and sciences curriculum, with core courses in accounting, economics, finance, management and marketing.

Instruction by a renowned faculty is enhanced through recognizable guest speakers and access to internship opportunities – local, regional and international.

Courses are offered in a flexible evening format, and students may choose to diversify their degree program by pursuing one of several concentration areas.

Certificate in Project Management

The Certificate in Project Management provides a baseline knowledge, helping students to successfully pursue the highly-sought-after Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Students gain the analytical framework, strategic planning skills, and managerial insight necessary to become effective project managers.

The undergraduate certificate is a stand-alone credential. The credits earned are also “stackable,” meaning they can be applied toward a Bachelor of Professional Studies degree.

All required coursework may be accessed entirely through our online portal. The program may be completed within a 15- month period.
