The State Level Issues Management Process is an annual cycle that seeks to examine the challenges and opportunities in being a diverse society: specifically, the experience of, the response to, and the management of, human differences in South Carolina.

This four-step annual event process (1 event per quarter), mirrors the issues management process that will be offered at the county level. With each event, we look to address a step in the four step issues management process : (1) start the conversation; (2) advance the conversation, and address conflict in a constructive manner; (3) analyze the causes of gaps, and the drivers of strengths; and (4) identify and support constructive actions.
