Semester Abroad in the U.S. is an immersive program that allows university students the opportunity to study English in a different cultural setting. Through experiential coursework and social interactions, students will develop increased confidence and English proficiency, while acquiring an understanding of U.S. cultural practices and traditions. From role-playing to local field trips, students will enjoy a lively and enriching learning experience.
What is Semester Abroad in the South?
- Offers 17-week programs beginning in January and August, and an 8-week program beginning in June
- Customized programs can be arranged to fit your university’s schedule

What else do I need to know?
Applicants must be at least 16 years of age and must hold at least a beginner level of English proficiency in all skill-based areas.

Billing and Payment
Student bills are due during the first week of classes.

A full refund, less a processing fee of $100 US dollars, will be issued, so long as the student completes and submits the refund request form no more than 5 days into the program. No refunds will be processed after this 5-day period has passed.
Prospective students should begin the application process several months prior to the planned date of attendance.
