Dr. Daniela Goya-Tocchetto is an adjunct professor in both the Department of Philosophy, and the Department of Economics at the College of Charleston. Dr. Goya-Tocchetto holds a B.S. in Economics from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), an M.S. in Economics from UFRGS, an M.S. in Philosophy and Public Policy from the London School of Economics, and a Ph.D. in political philosophy from UFRGS.
Dr. Goya-Tocchetto, who grew up in southern Brazil, has focused her research on the intersection of economics, philosophy, psychology, and public policy. She is particularly interested in the recent developments in the fields of social psychology, behavioral economics, experimental political philosophy, and bioethics.
